How To Get All-On-4 Dental Implants For Less

Your Opportunity For A Life-Changing Smile Transformation

At Woodbridge Periodontal and Implant Center in Fairfax & Woodbridge, VA, our goal is to change patient’s lives with beautiful new smiles. Each and every day, we see patients who are frustrated with the day-to-day pain and discomfort that goes along with missing teeth.

It is our mission to improve the lives of those who feel too embarrassed to smile in public, and it is our goal to bring confidence back to those who are self-conscious about their oral health or the appearance of their smiles.

If you’re missing teeth, it’s time for a change. Our world-class team, led by renowned periodontist Dr. Ahmad Hawasli, is ready to help you take the first step toward brilliant oral health with full mouth dental implants.

Why Are Full Mouth Dental Implants Better Than Dentures?

Full arch dental implants offer a list of benefits compared to traditional dentures. For one, full mouth dental implants can offer a lifetime of normal day-to-day use, compared to the roughly five years that patients get with a good set of dentures. For another, and perhaps more importantly, full arch dental implants have long-term oral health advantages associated with them.

While dentures are prone to rubbing on the gums and producing painful inflammation and accelerated jawbone loss, full mouth dental implants are permanently anchored to the jawbone via a surgical implant post. This means no movement, no friction, little to no pain or inflammation, and complete preservation of healthy jawbone, even after decades of use.

Also, while dentures are cheaper initially, full arch dental implants often end up being the less expensive option over the long term, due to their low maintenance. Dentures frequently need repair, and oftentimes patients will go through several new sets of dentures over the course of their life due to breakdown from normal wear and tear.

Three Easy Steps to a Brand-New You

Step 1: Consultation With Dr. Hawasli

The first step of any full mouth dental implant procedure is to schedule an appointment for an initial consultation with Dr. Hawasli at our Woodbridge Periodontal and Implant Center in Fairfax & Woodbridge, VA. As a board-certified periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Hawasli possesses the skill, technique and experience to successfully place lifelong dental implants in even the most complex of cases.

During your consultation, Dr. Hawasli will conduct a full oral examination to determine whether or not you are an adequate candidate for full arch dental implants. One of the main things Dr. Hawasli will look for is an adequate supply of healthy jawbone in which to permanently anchor the implant post. If a sufficient amount of bone is not present, bone grafting may be required prior to the placement of your full mouth dental implants.

Step 2: Dental Implant Surgery

How Advanced Technology Benefits Patients

The second step of the implant process is the surgery itself. If you are deemed an adequate candidate for full mouth dental implants, our team will schedule you for your one-day outpatient surgical procedure. Depending on your unique situation, Dr. Hawasli will place All-on-Four or All-on-Six full arch dental implants, which will function as a brand-new set of durable, fully functional teeth. In order to make your experience as pleasant and pain-free as possible, Woodbridge Periodontal and Implant Center offers a complete range of dental sedation options.

In many instances, patients don’t even remember coming in for placement of their full mouth dental implants! After surgery, you will receive a set of provisional restorations, which you will keep for several months while fusion of the bone takes place with the implant post. The third and final step is placement of the final, permanent restoration.

Step 3: A Brand-New Beginning!

Before After
Before After

Last – but certainly not least! – is placement of the final restoration, which will be your brand-new set of permanent teeth. During the initial healing time, which begins immediately after surgery and can last anywhere from four to eight months, you will have a set of temporary restorations to use. While your temporaries will look, feel and function just like normal teeth, the final restoration goes above and beyond to truly bring out the best in your smile!

From there, all that’s left is for you to come in for your periodic checkups, and in the meantime, enjoy your stunning and functional teeth! Full mouth restorations don’t just look good; they’re also incredibly beneficial in terms of correcting oral health complications, reducing inflammation, and generally improving a patient’s overall systemic health. Many health complications arise in the mouth, and full mouth dental implants will keep you feeling happy, healthy, and full of smiles for years to come!
